According to quantum physics and many ancient and more modern spiritual teachings,
everything in the universe (on all levels) vibrates at different frequencies. For example,
on the level of mind and emotion, the energies of love, peace and joy (and all of their
manifestations), vibrate at very high frequencies. That is why we feel so light when we
experience them. In contrast, the opposite energies of fear, conflict and pain (and all
of their manifestations), vibrate at very low frequencies and that is why they feel so
heavy to us. There are many other vibrational frequencies between these two polar
opposites. One way of demonstrating how we are affected by these energies is to
observe the effect that music, words and even visual images have on water crystals.
The world renowned Japanese researcher Masaru Emoto demonstrates this
by exposing water to different stimuli like music, words, pictures and prayers. He then
freezes droplets from each specimen of water exposed to the different stimuli and
then examines and photographs them under a microscope.

Since the human body is made up of approximately 50% to 80% water (depending on
our age and gender) and water is directly influenced by our human energy ( ie. music,
words, images etc.), it is easy to see how our health on all levels is affected both
positively and negatively by what kind of energy and stimulus we are exposed to on
a daily basis.
Music greatly influences our mind and body. It can either have a positive or a negative
effect on us, depending on the type of music we listen to. Some music can help to
enhance our memories and increase our learning speed. Certain music also helps to
calm our minds, improve our spatial perception, promote better communication of our
feelings and change our moods. On the other hand, loud abrasive music like rap and
heavy metal, can effect us very negatively. They can contribute to psycological disorders
and various types of violence.

Research and studies conducted by certain doctors have shown that music aids in relieving
the pain of many physical ailments. It lessens stress and can even help in the patient's
recovery from some major illnesses. More and more doctors are using music as a part of
their patient's treatment plan than ever before.
